The German Red Cross has donated 200 tents to the Myanmar Red Cross Society for use in earthquake response efforts.
The handover ceremony for the donated tents was held at Yangon International Airport on May 28.
At the ceremony, German Red Cross Country Representative Mr. Finbarr Sweeney handed over the 200 tents, which were received by Executive Director of Myanmar Red Cross Society Professor Dr. Tin Maung Hlaing. The Myanmar Red Cross Society will make arrangements to ensure that the donated items reach the earthquake-affected people.
