Application for 2025 matriculation exam will be accepted up to one day before the exam to ensure that the students who are late for enrollment for various reasons, Dr. Myo Thant, Director General of Department of Myanmar Examinations, replied through State-owned Media.
The additional applications will be accepted up to 4.pm of March 16. Arrangements will be carried out for the students who migrated from distant areas and cannot sit for the exam at the original registered exam center but to take the exam conveniently at a different exam center in regions and states including Nay Pyi Taw, said Dr. Myo Thant. Applicant must directly contact relevant office of Township Education officer and Department of Myanmar Examinations to be able to change exam centers for various reasons.
The 2025 Matriculation Exam will be held from March 17 to 22, without holidays, depending on the combination of subjects. In the last 2024 exam, there were only over 120,000 candidates took the exam. In this 2025 exam, there are over 220,000 registered candidates, and 817 examination centers will be opened to operate.
