The total number of earthquakes including the Mandalay earthquake and its aftershocks has reached 186 until June 4, according to the statements released by the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology.
The aftershocks occurred in and around Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay, Sagaing and Shan State with the lowest magnitude being 2.8 and the highest being 5.9.

The Mandalay earthquake that struck on March 28 caused extensive damage in Mandalay, Sagaing, Nay Pyi Taw, Inlay Lake and other areas, as well as damage to ancient heritage sites, temples, pagodas and residential buildings.
Until May 30, the Mandalay earthquake had affected more than half a million people in 10 regions and states including Nay Pyi Taw with 3,739 deaths, 68 missing and 5,104 injuries.
