The value of trade between India and Myanmar in the 2024-2025 fiscal year is expected to exceed US$1.6 billion, according to the Ministry of Commerce.

In the period of nine months to December in the current fiscal year, the value of bilateral trade has reached US$1.2 billion. The bilateral trade value by fiscal year was US$1.4 billion in the 2022-2023 and US$1.33 billion in the 2023-2024.
Myanmar exports beans and pulses, rubber, fish and garments to India while it imports medicines, petroleum products and electricity and construction materials from India. In terms of the largest investment, India is ranked 11th with a total investment value of US$783 million among the countries investing in Myanmar.
