Since last April, more than 330,000 shares were traded on the Yangon Stock Exchange Main Board, with a value of over 1.630 billion kyats. Therefore, compared to April and May, the stock trading value in May was more than 1.2 billion kyats higher. As investors have become more interested in stocks this year, the stock market has seen higher trading volume month after month. Currently, 8 public companies are trading daily on the Yangon Stock Exchange Main Board, and 2 public companies are trading daily on the Pre Listing Board.
