STORY: Spain announced on Wednesday (July 3) the women’s squad list for the next Paris 2024 Olympics soccer competition.
The 18-player list included top names like Ballon d’Or winner Aitana Bonmati, Alexia Putellas and Jenni Hermoso.
Recent Champions League winner Patri Guijarro is back in the national team after missing the World Cup after signing an open letter along with other 15 players against then coach Jorge Vilda.
Spain, Women’s World Cup and UEFA Nations winners, are currently top of the FIFA rankings.
It will be the first time that the Spanish women’s team participate in the Olympics.
