Purchasing Manager’s index (PMI) slightly increased due to new overseas orders in November, according to a release issued by American based company S&P Global issuing world economic data and indexes. Purchasing Manager’s index in October was only 48.4 point and rose up to 49.8 point in November.
After order continuously had declined for Myanmar manufacturers in four months, new orders rose again in November, according to study.

Further more, they are facing obvious challenges including layoffs and delay in delivery time in supporting factors . Therefore, whether they can raise the production to maintain and meet such rising demand is an important issue in coming months.
On the other hand, production delayed due to layoffs as well as there were delays in exporting orders in time because of challenges of raw material shortages, transport crises and obtaining import licenses, said the report.

Although new orders rose, delivery time and the works to be done continued to rise . S&P Global sent questionnaires to manufacturing enterprises , analyse and release production indexes every month based on data obtained .
