The Ministry of Labor sent 24 Myanmar workers to Russia as a pilot project on March 5.
According to the ministry, the pilot project was planned to send Myanmar workers to Russia looking forward to promoting friendship between the two countries and to expand the labor market by sending workers to countries with better wages.

The procedures for sending the workers included signing an employment contract on February 28, conducting overseas job orientation training on March 3 and issuing Overseas Worker Identification Cards (OWICs). Of 54 skilled Myanmar workers, the 24 workers were sent initially.
