A KBZ Pay account with a foreign phone number is no longer available, as announced by KBZ Pay.
KBZ Pay accounts opened with Thai phones will temporarily suspend money transfer services from March 19, and users will need to change to a Myanmar phone number to continue using their KBZ Pay account.
A KBZ Pay official said that according to the current policy changes, KBZ Pay accounts can only be used with local phone numbers, so KBZ Pay users will be necessary to change their international phone numbers to a local numbers. It is easy to change the phone number to the Myanmar phone number by following the steps in the phone number change function in the KBZ Pay application. It is also necessary to update the KBZ Pay app to the new version that will be released soon to change the phone number.
KBZ Pay also informed the users that it is necessary to book a service with Virtual Customer Support, to quickly change phone numbers before the new version is released.
