The domestic car market is decreasing in demand and prices are being negotiated, said U Min Min Maung, Chairman of Yangon Region Automobile manufacturer and Distributers Association (YRAMDA). Currently, although the demand of some of SKD car declined, some type of car continued to gain normal price.
Some cars have to be sold in lower price in car show rooms depending on the trading situation. The potential of domestic car market depends on monetary stability, the number cars manufactured, the policy of state and political process in the country, said U Min Min Maung.
In the domestic car market, the cars valued at round about Ks.100 million, Ks. 150 million and Ks.200 million are good selling cars. The cars valued at Ks.1,000 million are not good selling cars. In EV private car market, EV cars valued at between Ks. 150 million and Ks. 200 million are stable in price and normal in trading.
