Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing has said that he strongly invited Belarusian entrepreneurs to invest in the fertilizer manufacturing industry in Myanmar.
The Senior General made the remarks in his opening speech at the Myanmar-Belarus Business Forum held at the President Hotel in Minsk, Belarus on March 6.
Belarusian entrepreneurs are strongly invited to invest in Myanmar’s fertilizer manufacturing industry, which is a priority investment area for Myanmar, as Myanmar is an agriculture-based country, the Senior General said.
He also said that Myanmar is promoting agriculture and livestock-based manufacturing industries as the country’s main manufacturing sectors due to its favorable natural resources.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said that he wanted to cooperate more closely with Belarus to develop industrial agriculture of Myanmar into smart agriculture to be able to produce value-added products in these sectors.
It is learnt that eight business-related MoUs and six education-related MoUs were signed at the Myanmar-Belarus Business Forum.
