An application has been submitted to the Shan State Investment Committee for permission to make investment and operate a business producing Marigold powder in Shan State and export it.
The business will be operated by Myanmar Pureplant Extracts Company Limited to manufacture and export Marigold powder for animal feed.
The investment amount of the business is US$2.027 million, and it will create job opportunities for 10 foreign workers and 185 local workers.

In order to create job opportunities, acquire technology, increase trade and obtain financial resources in Shan State, investments must be invited, and it is important that investment projects that have already been proposed in the state do not experience a retreat, Chief Minister of Shan State U Aung Aung, who is also Chairman of the Shan State Investment Committee, said.
The Shan State Investment Committee has so far approved investment projects worth over 46 billion kyats including seven foreign investment projects with an investment value of US$ 16.163 million and 18 Myanmar-invested businesses with an investment value of over US$ 7 million, creating job opportunities for 1,513 local workers and 68 foreign workers.
