According to the Ministry of Commerce, the volume of Myanmar-Thai border trade has exceeded 1 billion US dollars in the five months of this fiscal year.
From April 1st to August 16th of this fiscal year, Myanmar-Thailand border trade was worth more than 960 million US dollars in exports and more than 190 million US dollars in imports, with a total trade value of more than 1150 million US dollars.
Rice, broken rice, corns, beans, onion, aqua products, green rubber, CMP clothes, natural gas and sugar are exported to Thailand and electric vehicles, medicines and pharmaceutical products, fertilizer pesticides, construction materials and industrial raw materials are as imports.
The total amount of trade between Myanmar and foreign trading partners in the five months of the current fiscal year is more than 8 billion dollars, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
