Central Bank was sold through the FX Market Online Trading Platform, which includes AD licensed banks, exporters/importers.
According to the statement, there were 97 transactions for more than 95 million US dollars, including the sale of the central bank on that same day.
After announcing on August 14 that Central Bank plans to provide 100 million US dollars in support to fuel oil companies, nearly 90 million dollars were sold in one day.
In addition, the exchange rate was 486.80 kyats and more than 15 million Chinese yuan, more than 12 million Thai baht were traded at an exchange rate of 104.10 kyats on August 19.
