Foreign investment is over 150 million US dollars until end of July of2024-2025 fiscal year, according to the figures released by Directorate of Investments and Company Administration(DICA).
From April to the end of July of this fiscal year, the countries that made the most foreign investment in Myanmar were Singapore made more than $87 million, China made more than $34 million and Indonesia made more than $20 million.
The sectors with the most foreign investment are the transportation and communication sectors, Manufacturing sector and energy sector.
In the last fiscal year 2023-2024, foreign investment was more than 660 million dollars and 2022-2023 fiscal year was more than 1,640 million dollars.
