Eight companies involved in palm oil import fraud were blacklisted, The Directorate of Investments and Companies announced on June 24.
The companies that have been blacklisted are Six Winner Brothers Company Limited, Diamond Dragon Company Limited, Ayeyar Hinthar Trading Company Limited,Thein Than Yadanar Company Limited and other four companies are involved.
Companies registered in the online registration system of the Directorate of Investments and Companies must respect the provisions of the Myanmar Companies Law, as well as the government departments related to the business they operate. If the organization finds non-compliance with other existing laws and regulations, the registrar will announce it to the public.
