It was learnt that these investments were various garment manufacturing businesses under the CMP system, involving a capital of US$3.369 million and the potential job creation of 2,802 local workers. Yangon Region plays a crucial role in driving the country’s economy and stands out as one of the top regions for investment.
Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr. Kan Zaw, emphasized the importance of support from relevant ministries and regional and state governments in initiating investment projects. He stated that they are prepared to support investments in accordance with the law. Earlier this year, seven domestic and foreign investment projects were launched in the hotel and tourism sector, as well as in the industrial sectors, in the Yangon Region.
