Myanmar Fertilizer, Seed and Pesticide Entrepreneurs Association (MFSPEA) published the reference prices of Yangon wholesale fertilizer for January 1, to 31 of this year slightly lower than previous month.
Under the supervision of the Urea Fertilizer Purchasing and Distribution Steering Committee, MFSPEA instructed the member companies to sell the fertilizer mainly used by farmers according to reference prices.
Yangon wholesale prices have been set to sell ks. 95,000 for a bag of 50 kilo Urea Fertilizer (large), Ks. 124,000 for a bag of 50 kilos around 15 basic Rock Phosphate and Ks. 135,000 for a bag of 50 kilos around 15 basic DI Ammonium lowering some of the fertilizer prices to Ks.2000 compared to last month.
As these prices are Yangon wholesale prices, there may be slight different due to transport charges and make complaints calling the phone numbers of the steering committee and the association unless the fertilizers are sold according to the reference prices.
