The Hindu Family Support Group (Myanmar) held a prayer service for the people killed in the Mandalay earthquake at the Sanatan Dharma Hindu Temple in Mandalay on the evening of May 4.
The prayer service was dedicated to people of all religions killed in the earthquake, said U Maung Thein, in-charge of the Hindu Family Support Group (Myanmar). The attendees to the prayer service observed a minute of silence and lit candles to express their condolences to those who died in the earthquake.

In addition, certificates of appreciation were presented to those who contributed to the donations of the Hindu Family Support Group (Myanmar). Moreover, the group has been making donations of food as well as providing necessary supplies to the earthquake-affected areas. On May 11, they will be donating food and other necessities to 3,000 people at the platform of the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda as well as holding a prayer service for those who died in the earthquake.
