If fire trucks that charge money for water in earthquake-affected areas with water shortages are seen, it can be reported, according to the Myanmar Fire Services Department in a response to reports on social media that a fire truck costs between 100,000 and 150,000 kyats.

If there is a water shortage due to the earthquake, help can be requested to the fire brigade stations. As there are water trucks ready to put out fires upon the request of help, the regions and states that are not affected by the earthquake are requested to distribute such trucks to the earthquake-affected areas.

The powerful Mandalay earthquake that struck on March 28 caused damage, and although electricity lines and communication stations were quickly repaired in the Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, water pipes are still being fixed. Because the water supply service is still out of order, there is a water shortage, and requests for help for fire trucks have to be made there.
