The Agriculture and Livestock Development Commission will adopt necessary policies for the development of agriculture and livestock, said the Commission Chair General Nyo Saw at the first meeting of Commission held on December 27.
The commission will draft policies for agriculture and livestock development , to promote export volumes by increasing the production in agriculture and fishery sectors and to increase local and foreign investments in agriculture and related sectors.
He also stressed that economic development will be carried out by investing for the development of agricultural economy.
The agriculture and livestock product will be necessary to be produced as value-added products and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) that produce value-added products should be provided basic electricity needs and solar energy system, said General Nyo Saw.
