Japan-based Ingo Peace donated more than 4.5 million US dollars worth of medicines and medical related equipment to be used by Myanmar citizens in areas where they need it.
The donation ceremony was held at Yangon’s Chatrium Hotel on September 1st, the president and officials of Myanmar Red Cross Society, officials from Ingo Peace and officials from UMFCCI attended.
the medicines donated by Japan will be used beneficially for areas in need in Myanmar, U Kyaw Myo, part-time executive of the Myanmar Red Cross Association said.
This is the first time that Ingo Peace has made such a donation to Myanmar and plans to continue donating to Myanmar.
