Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nacho Fernandez are eager to start their new challenge in the Saudi Pro League with the newly promoted Al Qadsiah.
The former Arsenal, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund journeyman and ex Real Madrid stalwart are the headline names in Al Qadsiah’s list of incoming transfers which also includes Mexican international forward Julian Quinones and Uruguayan full-back Nahitan Nández.
Aubameyang said”Yeah, I think, for me, I have done everything in Europe. I have been all around the world with a few teams, and I think it was time for me to try something different. And I think this is a really good project because I can bring my experience to the young players and to everybody here”
The 2024-25 Saudi Pro League season gets underway on Thursday (August 22) when Al-Taawoun play hosts to Al Feiha.
Al Qadsiah, meanwhile, begin their campaign on Friday (August 23) at home to Al Fateh in Khobar.
