A high-level delegation led by President U Min Aung Hlaing, who is on an official visit to India, visited Jawaharlal Nehru Port in Mumbai on June 2.
The President was accompanied by Union Ministers, the Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar, Deputy Ministers and officials. Jawaharlal Nehru Port is India’s largest container port and a major maritime gateway for international trade.
More than 50 percent of India’s total container cargo volume entering and leaving the country through sea routes is handled through this port.The port is named after India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.President U Min Aung Hlaing is on an official visit to the Republic of India from May 30 at the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Shri Narendra Modi.
