President U Min Aung Hlaing, who is on an official visit to India, departed for Mumbai from Palam Air Force Base, New Delhi on the morning of June 2. The high-level delegation led by the President was seen off by the staff and family members of theMyanmar Embassy and Military Aattaché Office in India as well as officials led by the Minister of State on the Indian side.
The high-level delegation led by the President, who arrived at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai, was also welcomed by the Myanmar Consulate General in Kolkata and staff, and officials led by a high-level representative of Maharashtra.
President U Min Aung Hlaing has been on an official visit to India since May 30 at the invitation of the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi.During the visit, the President met with the President of India on June 1 and also held talks with the Prime Minister of India.
The President was accompanied by Union Ministers U Khin Maung Yi, U Tin Maung Swe, Dr. Kan Zaw, U Min Naung, Dr. Charlie Than, Central Bank of Myanmar Governor Dr. Khin Naing Oo, Chief of Defence Industries Lt. Gen. Moe Myint Swe, Deputy Ministers and officials.
