Central Bank of Myanmar will plan to provide 100 million US dollars to fuel companies, released on August 14.

Central bank also announced that it has increased the interest rate from 7 percent to 9 percent.
In addition, the minimum interest rate that banks will charge on deposits is 7 percent and the maximum interest rate that banks can charge on all loans is set at 15 percent, according to annoucement.
