Borussia Dortmund legend Marco Reus has decided his future and will continue his career in the USA.
The German midfielder’s next club will be Los Angeles Galaxy. The deal has finally been sealed after the initial agreement was disclosed in July. The contract is set to run until December 2025, with an option to extend for an additional year.
Reus will soon travel to the USA for medical tests and to sign the contract with Los Angeles Galaxy.
To recall, on January 4, 2012, Marco Reus signed a five-year contract with Borussia Dortmund. The reigning German champions paid €17 million for their compatriot, breaking the club’s transfer record.
Reus spent the majority of his career in Dortmund. On May 3, 2024, it was officially announced that Reus would leave Borussia. At 35 years old, Reus spent 12 years with the “Yellow and Blacks.” He played 429 matches for them, scoring 170 goals and providing 131 assists. Despite winning the German Cup twice with Borussia, he never fulfilled his dream of winning the Bundesliga.
