Flood water rushed down the Shishikoh valley in Pakistan’s Chitral on Sunday (August 4), destroying a bridge and causing devastation along the way.
The flood completely submerged the sole road connecting Shishikoh valley to other areas, severing the land connection, the residents are said to be in great need of relief.
The recent floods has also washed away crops, damaged irrigation canals, pipelines, and power plants.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 12 children were among the two-dozen people who died in the last five days of rains and floods in the northwestern province.
