Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with Nicolas Pépé for the French-Ivorian player to play in yellow for the next two seasons, until 30th June 2026.
The skilful new Submarine player, who is left-footed, usually plays on the right side of the attack, although he can also play anywhere in attack. Quick, agile, skilful in one-on-one situations and with a powerful shot. A real spectacle for the Submarine’s fans.
Pepe has scored himself a deal with Spanish side Villarreal, signing a two-year contract and signing as a free agent following a short year in Turkey with Trabzonspor. The 29-year-old scored five goals in 19 appearances in Turkey and will be hoping to push on after a disastrous spell at Arsenal.
He will now be looking to make a major impact at Villarreal and prove that he can still play at a high level.
Villarreal finished in eighth place in LaLiga last season.
