Efforts are being made to find employment opportunities they propose after completing their service for those who have successfully completed their military service, according to The Overseas Employment Committee meeting.
To achieve this, the first meeting of the Overseas Employment Work Committee was held on November 8 at the temporary meeting hall of the Ministry of Labor.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Labor and Chairman of the Overseas Employment Work Committee U Win Shein gave an opening speech and instructed that if those who want to go overseas and work after completion of their military service, efforts must be done to find jobs of their choice, compile a list of workers in need of work and information about jobs, and conduct screening and selection.
In addition, the Deputy Minister of Labor, Chairman of the Working Committee, also instructed the Ministry of Labor to coordinate with licensed agencies for overseas employment, provide language and overseas employment guidance courses, provide on-the-job training, and send workers to foreign countries in accordance with procedures.
In addition, he said that the Ministry of Labor will coordinate with relevant ministries, government, and private training schools that have opened vocational training schools so that workers can attend vocational training courses related to the desired industry.
