Over 40,000 people were fed satuditha( feast given in charity for all corners ) during the 4-day Tazaungdaing Festival and Music Festival held at the People’s Square in Yangon, according to the Yangon Region Government announcement.
The Tazaungdaing Festival is being organized and managed by the Yangon Region Government. On the first day of the festival, on November 1 in the morning 5,000 boxes of white rice with plain peanut oil, fried dried fish and chili were distributed and in the evening, 5,000 boxes of mixed vegetables and cold drinks were distributed. On November 2 in the morning 5,000 boxes of white rice with scrambled eggs, fried chili and cold drinks were donated and in the evening 5,000 boxes of fried noodles and cold drinks were distributed.
On November 3 in the morning 6,000 boxes of white rice with plain peanut oil, fried dried fish and chili were distributed, in the evening 6,000 boxes of fried rice and egg and colddrinks were offerred. On November 4 in the morning, 6,000 boxes of danbauk made of varieties of fruits and cold drinks were donated and in the evening 6,000 boxes of fried vermicelli and cold drinks were donated .
Some people who visited the festival extended best whishes and prayed for the health of the donors who donated satuditha feast and that they would donate more in the future. The 2025 Tazaungdaing Market and Music Festival was held at the People’s Square in Yangon from November 1 to 4, and more than 630 stalls were open.
