The 10th anniversary celebration of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) will be held in Nay Pyi Taw on October 15 alongside a commemorative workshop on the NCA, according to the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC).
The fourth work coordination meeting to successfully celebrate the NCA anniversary was held at the M Gallery Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw on October 9.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Steering Committee on the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) Union Minister Lt. Gen. Yar Pyae, Deputy Chairman of the Steering Committee Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, Secretary Lt. Gen. Min Naing, committee members and officials.

The NCA Commemoration Workshop will be conducted to review the implementation of the peace process under the NCA over the past 10 years, the successes and challenges, and identify the peace process that should be continued in future peace processes, to enable the public to better understand the NCA enhancing the trust and cooperation between the government and public, and to let the regional and international countries know the implementation status of the Myanmar peace processes.
In addition, the workshop will gather the views and suggestions from relevant sectors and levels and work together to develop integrated measures to ensure that the government that emerges after the election and the peace process continue to be implemented at a rapid pace in the process of building the future Myanmar.
