The Myanmar ISPE men’s football team has won the Invitational Cup Football Tournament held in Lincheng, Yunnan Province, China, according to the Department of Sports and Physical Education. The tournament was held from September 30 to October 7, and a total of 6 teams participated, including 4 teams from China, 1 team from Vietnam, and 1 team from Myanmar.
The Myanmar ISPE team drew 1-1 with China (Hulan) on October 1, and defeated China (Guizhou) 8-2 on October 2, China (Lon Naing) 7-0 on October 3, China (Sports/Education) 3-0 on October 4, and Vietnam (Hanoi Xide FC) 11-0 on October 5. ISPE won 4 games, drew 1 game, and scored 13 points without losing.

The ISPE team, which won the championship, returned to Yangon International Airport on the afternoon of October 7 and was warmly welcomed by U Saw Jack Htoo, Yangon Region Ethnic Affairs Minister U Saw Jacob Htoo, Director of the Competition and Training Division (2) of the Department of Sports and Physical Education U Win Htet Mon, and relevant officials and sports enthusiasts. The ISPE team, which competed in the China Invitational Football Tournament, was mainly supported by the Myanmar-China Friendship and Development Promotion Association.
