Myanmar Railways reported that the 3 railway routes were temporarily cancelled due to flooding.
Yangon-Mandalay, Bago-Mawlamyine and Pathein-Hinthata-Kyan Khin railway routes have to be temporarily cancelled due to flood, according to report.
Due to floods on July 28, train passengers on the Yangon-Mandalay railway were transferred to RBE train and continued to be transported by vehicles.
Similarly, the passengers on the 82 Down express train had to be picked up by the RBE train from Bago station and then transported to Yangon station, according to the statement.
In the Ayeyarwaddy Region, along the Pathein-Hinthata-Kyan Khin railway route, passenger train trips have been temporarily canceled since July 27 due to water flowing over the railway bridges.
