The Union Election Commission has announced the dates for the submission, withdrawal, and scrutiny of nominations for the respective Hluttaw starting from August 20. Hluttaw candidate nominations for repective Hluttaw constituency can begin on September 8, and if they wish to withdraw their nominations, they can do so by September 12 as the last date.
If a political party contesting a PR constituency withdraws its nomination for a Hluttaw candidate, it must resubmit a replacement within September 13 to 17. The Union Election Commission has announced that the Hluttaw candidate nominations will be scrutinized from September 18 to October 4.
