The Chairman of the Committee Vice-Senior General Soe Win made the remarks at the second meeting of the Central Committee for Myanmar Special Economic Zones for the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 held on March 11.
He said that in implementing Thilawa Special Economic Zone that is in progress and the Kyaukphyu Special Economic Zone and the Dawei Special Economic Zone that will be implemented in the future, it is necessary to consider not only the economic perspective but also the political aspect. In addition, when inviting investments to special economic zones, it is necessary to prioritize investments in products that can be exported, said Vice-Senior General Soe Win.
