A total of 14 MoUs were signed at the Myanmar-Belarus Business Forum including eight economic MoUs and six educational cooperation MoUs, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr. Kan Zaw said.
He made the remarks in response to a separate interview with One News at the forum held at the President Hotel in Minsk, Belarus, on March 6 local time.

The MoUs signed by UMFCCI and BelCCI include eight types of business and six agreements on educational cooperation including manufacturing of vehicles and tractors, milk and dairy products, cheese and fertilizer. Myanmar and Belarus have been in diplomatic relations for 25 years since 1999, and the current period is the most successful and cooperative period in the past period of 25 years, the union minister said.

The forum was attended by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is on a state visit to Belarus, and he delivered an opening speech at the event. Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Mr. Yuri Shuleiko also delivered a welcoming speech. The Myanmar-Belarus Economic Forum is jointly organized by the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
