Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung urged police veterans to contribute to measures for ensuring crime reduction.
He made the remarks in his opening remarks at the ceremony to celebrate the 3rd Anniversary of Myanmar Police Veteran Organization held at the Myanmar Police Force Headquarters in Nay Pyi Taw on February 26. He urged the veterans to discharge the national duties to the best of their ability through contributing to the measures being taken to ensure internal security, community peace and order, rule of law and crime reduction.
The police veterans who attended the ceremony introduced themselves, explained the work they had done over the past three years and outlined the future plans. The Myanmar Police Force Veterans Organization was formed on December 22, 2021.
