Internally displaced persons will be provided monthly support of Ks.20,000 per person until the end of this year, said Chairman of State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
The financial aid for the temporarily displaced persons were presented in the morning of February 11th after a meeting with the Regional and State Chief Ministers in Nay Pyi Taw.
The funds will be transferred to the disaster management fund accounts of the region and state governments, including the Nay Pyi Taw Council
It is necessary to work collaboratively to ensure that all temporarily displaced persons in the relevant areas are included, that there is no person left out of the list and that financial aid is provided systematically and effectively when providing subsidies.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing ordered that it is necessary to collect the list of temporarily displaced persons who are not included in the present list and to support them verifying systematically.
