A short video competition with the title of the “Fascinating Country of Myanmar” will be held and anyone can participate, Myanmar Motion Picture Organization(MMPO) announced on June 26.
Under that title, contestants will have to present highlights about tourist attraction, traditional cultural traits, the festivals and traditional Burmese food, and they can compete with a video clip of no more than (3) minutes in both English/Myanmar languages, using the language of their choice.
The first prize is 1,500,000 Kyats, the second prize is 1,200,000 Kyats, the third prize will be awarded with 1,000,000 Kyats and also include five consolation prizes.
Winners of short videos submitted by contestants will be awarded prizes at the World Tourism Day ceremony to be held on September 27 at MICC-2, Nay Pyi Taw.
For those who want to compete, the competition must be sent on August 16, 3:00 p.m.
