THE Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) announced that it has sold US$20 million to the fuel oil sector in foreign currency market on January 30. It is sold through FX Market Online Trading Platform, which includes the Central Bank, AD licensed banks, and exporters/importers.
The exchange rate was Ks.3,593 per US dollar. According to the Central Bank, the Central Bank has so far in January, sold a total of more than 150 million dollars to fuel oil sector and importers.
