The number of skilled workers sending to Japan can increase more than previous year, according to a Japanese overseas worker services agency. The elderly nursing homes, restaurants, foodstuffs, manufacturing, cleaning works and agricultural works are recruiting more workers.
Many Myanmar agencies received demand letters from Japan and many of applicants have passed aptitude tests, said U Sai Sithu, from a Japanese overseas employment agency Silver Crane. Furthermore, more than 300 Japanese companies sent demand letters calling more than 900 Myanmar workers, according to a statement from Myanmar Embassy in Japan on January 15.
