Last December 9, 11 Myanmar youths including Ma Hnin Ei Phyu from Taungdwingyi Township out of three women were arrested and 11 faked Myanmar passports were seized.
According to the investigation, Managing Director Nweni Hlaing Min and Director Khin Maung Shwe @ Bala of One Asia job agency from Kyauktada Township, Yangon took Ks. 8 million each from nine people including Ma Hnin Ei Pyu, whereas Managing Director Su Myat @ Su Myat Nanda Win from Hlyan Htet travel agency from 3rd floor of Central Tower in Kyauktada township took Ks.7 million each from other two including Maung Kyaw Min Tun, to make fake Myanmar passports and sent them to Malaysia through Thailand.
Eight offenders from One Asia Employment Agency and Lyan Htet Travel Agency were arrested and they confessed that they had made 734 fake Myanmar passports. The Myanmar Police Force continues investigations to arrest the remaining offenders.
