Number of students who have registered to take the 2025 University Entrance Examination is bigger than that in the previous year, according to the Ministry of Education.
Compared to just over 140,000 in the previous year, around 220,000 students have registered so far to take the upcoming university entrance exam.
Those who will take the 2025 University Entrance Examination include students from basic education high schools, monastic education schools and private high schools, an official of the ministry said.
The exam will be held from March 17 to 22 in 2025 with no days off according to the subjects they have chosen. In the 2024 university entrance exam, over 120,000 students took the exam, and of them over 74,000 students passed with a passing rate of 59.9 percent.
