YANGON Region Gold Entrepreneurs Association (YGEA) notified mineral(gold)traders and services to present a bank statement with 25 per cent of the total assets for seeking a gold trading license.
Applicants must submit the original bank statement signed by bank manager of any bank, the notification said. The trading volume must be in weight measurement of gold.
Additionally, membership document of Myanmar Gold Entrepreneurs Association (YGEA) or YANGON Region Gold Entrepreneurs Association (YGEA), recommendation letter of the respective township’s Department of General Administration and police clearance certificate must also be attached.
Furthermore, tax clearance certificate issued by the respective township Internal Revenue Department and business license granted by the respective municipal office must also be attached.
The The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation notified that the work license must be submitted in three months between November 18 and February 17. Anyone who fails to apply license for mineral(gold) within the prescribed three months will be taken action under Section 5 of the Essential Supplies And Services Law.
