2024 China Image Film Week was launched at the Chinese Cultural Centre in Yangon at 3:00 p.m on September 20. It was jointly organized by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and China Media Group-CNTN Myanmar for the purpose of friendly cultural exchange between China and Myanmar.
The ceremony to open China Image Film Week was attended by U Zeyar, deputy director-general of the Media Development Department of the Ministry of Information, and Dr. Zheng Zhihong, counselor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar. The China Image Film Week will be open to the public and five movies will be shown free of charge for 5 days from September 20 to 24 at the Chinese Cultural Centre at 3:00 p.m.
The five films that will be shown at the China Image Film Week include science fiction film “The Wording Earth” 1 and 2, animation film ‘Chang An’, and documentary film “Paths of the Soul”.
